Formerly Pearson Assessments and the assessment division of AGS Publishing, the Diagnostic and Special Needs Assessment group of Pearson is a premier provider of assessment resources, offering innovative tools and time-tested instruments for use in clinical, medical, forensic, correctional, public safety, preK-12, career guidance and counseling settings.

Scantron Corporation. Formerly the Data Management group of Pearson, the business was sold in February 2008 to Scantron Corporation and is now operating as part of the Scantron business. Scantron helps education and commercial organizations measure and improve effectiveness with assessment and survey solutions. The company provides tools for the rapid, accurate and reliable capture of data with innovative software and survey solutions that leverage the company’s expertise in world-class forms printing and scanner manufacturing. Scantron (www.scantron.com) is a subsidiary of Harland Clarke Holdings Corp., which is wholly owned by M & F Worldwide Corp. (NYSE: MFW).

School Systems. Formerly Pearson School Systems, the School Systems group of Pearson is the market leader in K-12 technology innovations and supports millions of students with products including PowerSchool Premier, Chancery SMS, Mac School, Win School, SASI and Pearson Inform.

Vangent Inc. Formerly Pearson Government Solutions, the business was sold in February 2007 to Veritas Capital and changed its name to Vangent, Inc. The company is a global provider of consulting, systems integration, human capital management and business process outsourcing services to the U.S. federal and international governments, higher education institutions and corporations.
